English for Communication (EC)
The EC program provides a friendly environment in which students practice, improve and learn to enjoy their English. Our teachers help facilitate an educational experience based on cross-cultural exchange and understanding.
Cambridge Examination (FCE, CAE, BEC Vantage)
These 12-week intensive courses prepare students for the First Certificate Exam (FCE), Cambridge Advanced Exam (CAE) or the BEC (Business English
Certificate) Vantage. The exams are given at ICC Hawaii at the end of the courses. A 9-week super-intensive (30 hrs/weeks) FCE/CAE course is offered each January.
CELTA (Teacher Training)
You will not find a more rewarding and productive course than the CELTA.
You will leave the course knowing more about the English language, feeling more confident in teaching it as a second language or as a foreign language and having a certificate that is globally recognized and that opens doors to interesting job possibilities.
TOEFL Program
ICC Hawaii’s TOEFL program will help you to improve your TOEFL score and learn to be a successful university student. This real-life academic environment is designed to help you reach your academic goals.
TOEIC Preparation
This program prepares students for the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) exam which measures the English skills of people working in an international business environment. The course focuses on improving one’s proficiency in vocabulary, grammar, writing, listening and speaking.
Internship Program
This intensive internship combines English language training with on-the-job exposure to American business practices. Internships are opportunities to apply the skills acquired in core Business English Certificate (BEC) or English for Communication (EC) classes. Interns are placed at a business or professional organization for 8 to 12 hours a week. All positions are unpaid.
Teen Summer Adventure Program
This exciting and fun program gives teenagers (13-17 years old) the opportunity to study English in the mornings and participate in a variety of cultural and sports activities in the afternoons. Activities may include Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park, the Polynesian Cultural Center, snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, and surfing lessons.

TALL Language Learning
ICC's computer assisted language learning (CALL) program uses the leading edge Technology Assisted Language Learning (TALL) software and technology. ICC is the only language school in Honolulu to offer this to English language students.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available by arrangement. Private lessons may be taken alone, or coupled with a regular program. Semi-private lessons may also be available. Please contact us for more information.
